Default new RX 330 questions

Hello,
What is the current situation with the Lexus dealers? When do they plan to start delivery for the new RX?
I heard the wait for the new Volvo SUV is over 6 months! Should I run to the dealer now and place a deposit or is it OK to just wait until they hit the road?
Thanks in advance

Delivery is around the end of March, beginning of April.

It's best to put a deposit down now and put yourself on the list. It's refundable (make sure they write that down) so you can get it back if you go another way.

Default Breakwater or Neptune?

Is this blue, or is the lighting making a silver car appear blue? Breakwater Blue is lighter than Neptune, which is more of a navy. The Edmunds First Drive review shows another picture of a Breakwater blue -- check them out.

Has anybody found out if the tail lights are indeed LEDs?

I think that's the breakwater, but like amontgom said, it might be the silver.

Go to the Lexus.ca site, pick the 330, and pick build. The colors there seem to be the colors we're getting in the US. Try this link.

Default Lexus.ca Link

Wow -- thanks for the link to build the vehicle! I only wish the picture was larger so I could get a better feel for the colors.

Wow...the info is getting closer and closer...first Canada...then what next? Michigan!!? The anticipation is tough to bear!

Why oh why won't Lexus bundle that Performance pkg with the "Ultimate Luxury Premium Plus Extra Spectacular" pkg?!?! My husband forgot about the sequential transmission...now he wants both even more! I know there are going to be definitely more choices offered here in the States - so maybe there's hope...

Yes that is a nice color. I wonder if it's the same color that Lexus offered on the previous generation SC series. I think its perfect, very easy to keep clean, but something different then the boring silver or gold.

I've noticed that the roof rack is standard on the RX 330. I was just wondering if it's possible to remove the roof rack manually or is it built into the car?

The roof rack doesn't come with the big moon roof, so it might be possible. Don't know though.
