Hi...I am considering purchasing a new 2012 RX 450h and was e-mailing with a sales rep. I informed the rep that we really want an RX450h in the Cerulean Blue color. However, he informed me that Lexus stopped making the RX in Cerulean Blue. I am not sure if he is correct as the website shows that you can order an RX 450 h or 350 in Cerulean Blue ?

Please let me know if you have come across the same issue ?

Go to edmunds.com and do an inventory search. I didn't know your zip code, but in 30060 I found two.

 

if its on the lexus website, then they still make it. email some lexus dealers in other states and have e of them check neighboring inve tories... then buy that one

 

Thanks for feedback David and Tampa Owner. I think I may actually be getting a Black Opal Mettalic with Black Interior ? My past cars have allways been light colored cars ? Is the Black Opal hard to keep clean and is it suspectible to excessive swirl marks ?

It is no harder to clean and will have just as many or few swirl marks as lighter colors. The differece is that they are easier to see. That being said, when they are clean and polished they just gleam in the sunlight.
