How to remove front seat rear panel???
I am getting ready to install DVD headrest players in my RX400h. I am stumped on how to remove the read shield of the seat if that makes sence? I believe the are held in by clamps from middle to top but not sure what needs done at the bottome. And I can also feel two straps at the bottom.
Anyone know how to remove the back so I can run the wires down the seat from the headrests? Pictures? Diagrams?
Thanks!

Ok, I'm looking at the diagram but it is still a bit limited on what I need to do to remove the back. I cannot tell if the two elastic ropes can be removed without other seat dissambly. I would imagine so but I cannot tell for sure. Not sure what way the back pops out.
Has anyone ever removed the back panel from the front seat before?

I haven't removed the back panel but usually the elastic straps just hook on the bottom...To me it looks like you just unhook the straps and remove the two screws, then the back should pop off.

That is what I would have thought as well but I think it is attached to a hose from a picture I took underneath. Almost like you have to remove the hose to take off the elastic which doesn't make much sense to do it that way. I will have to try to look closer. It just would be a lot easier to know what to do instead of fiddle with it and accidently break something. Sounds like this should be a pretty cut and dry removal process but it's turning out to be a little bit of a pain since no one seems to know the actual procedure. hmmm...
