Thumbs up Lexus Luxury Redefined Event

Did anyone else get an invitation to this event? Here is the FAQ:

Q) What are the highlights of this event?

A) You will have the opportunity to drive_a variety of_luxury sport utility vehicles in exciting on-road and/or off-road conditions…in natural, beautiful settings. We promise to deliver an experience that defines luxury. Lexus wants to make every moment count for our customers, and we have designed this program with that philosophy in mind. And with no salespeople present, you can relax and enjoy your time.

Technical specialists will be on hand to answer your vehicle questions ú on both Lexus Luxury Utility Vehicles and their top competitors.

Professional driving instructors will share driving tips with you and provide personal “coaching” on safe driving, off-road and performance driving techniques.

Default Lexus Luxury Redefined Event

Hey Lexus rx330,
I got one too! I'm like you. Kinda wondering if only a few select people received an invitation OR I'm just one of the many to receive an invitation.

These are sweet events. I went to "A Taste of Lexus" a few years back, and then to the IS introduction event. It's a fun day of driving cars and eating lots of good free food

I got one too...but the wife threw it out by accident before I could get a good read on it. Thanks for posting the info on this event, LexusRX330. I remember reading something about going to a website to register for this event. Does anyone know what the web address was? Thanks.

Thumbs up

I received one via email too. Signed up for the one in The Plains, VA in May. Looking forward to it. Have been to several Lexus events in the past - always has been a first class ticket.

It states you will get a chance to drive both on-road and off-road. Curious to see what the off-road driving will be like.

At past events - they were held in RFK stadium's parking lot (DC).

For those of you who attended the previous Lexus events, do they allow you to bring a camera and take still photos?

I signed up for the San Juan Capistrano, CA event. Hopefully they will have a large on-road test area since I'll probably never take an RX off-road during normal driving. I really want to test the acceleration and cornering capabilities.

Wow - thanks for the link! I did not get an invitation, but I am currently on the list for a RX330. I signed up to participate at the event in The Plains, VA, in the hopes that I might be able to drive this car before mine actually becomes available!

I'm signed up for the Chicago Oakbrook event in June which is really long way yet. Would appreciate the ones who are going to the March events in California report back on this board on the details. Have never attended a Lexus event however knowing Lexus, I'm sure it'll be spectacular and educational since it is rare that you can test drive all Lexus SUVs in a special setting to simulate off and on road epecially in a back to back drive with the competition. Bring your family, kids, friends, ..... etc. Attended a Volvo XC90 event last Fall at the Chicago Speedway and that was lots of fun since they had 3 circuits set up and the best and the most fun was the high speed moose avoidance test. There were more women and family with kids attending than single males or couples at least on the day I was there.

Also, you don't really need to receive the "official" invite before you can go. It's really open to anyone. If you have relatives or friends interested in Lexus SUVs and they want to compare with the competition, tell them to sign up by calling the Lexus number stated in your invite.
