Wink 2005 Lexus RX330 Low Gas Alerts

I thought I had read the whole manual, but didn't seem to cover this part. Is there not some way that the RX330 displays the distance to empty? I am getting quite nervous as I haven't even seen the fule light come on! Any one there that might be able to help me to figure this out?
Thanks in advance for all your help..

The low fuel light will come on at about 50 miles from empty. It will display on the right side in the speedometer gauges. If your RX is equipped with a Navigation System it will also display in the "Info - Trip Information - Cruising Range" display.

The mileage to empty range can be found in the Navigation Display Panel under "Cruise Range." This will tell you the distance to empty range. Hope this helps.

Like most, the Lexus gauge reads low, giving you the impression you have less fuel than you actually do. The reason you have not seen your light is because you reasonably fill it back up when it gets down to the one-fourth mark. On your next refill, subtract the amount purchased from the capacity of tank and you will see that you have far more than half when the gauge shows 1/2, etc. Of course, all this is academic, as waiting for the warning light does not save money, only perhaps time over the long term, and turns a convenient fuel stop into an emergency dash for gas.

When I checked, my tank had about 2 - 2.5 gallons of gas remaining when the light came on. That amount of gas should take you 30-50 miles depending on your fuel economy.

Thanks! At least that gives me some idea. It just seemed strange that I couldn't find something so basic but everything else is well documented.
