Default Need help with key

I have read countless threads on programming key, all of which seem irrelevant to my issue. I have a 2007 Lexus RX350. I purchased a key blank, had it cut by lexus and programmed it myself with TIS Techstream. The keyless entry remote portion works fine, but the key does not start the car. It seems that the immobilizer does not recognize the key. Does anyone know how to do this?

you have to program the key twice (one for the remote and one for the engine)

How is the engine programming accomplished? Do you have or know where to find the procedure?

After connecting to the vehicle, bouble click "Immobilizer", select "Utility", double click "Key Registration".

The rest is straight forward. It took me just one try because the keyless entry was already programmed with the pedal dance. Did you try a second time?

Now I supposed you already did all that? If so, try to check the type of user you selected in the configuration. I chose something like US Dealer. I heard some choices will not allow immobilizer programming.

Which version of Techstream are you using?

Thanks for the response. I programmed the keyless entry thru techstream. I think the immobilizer section was unselectable, but I will take another look at that.

Got it programmed. You were correct, under immobilizer>Utility
missed that Utility button when I was in there before.

On a side note. If anyone in the Chicagoland area needs a key programmed, send me an IM and I'll take care of CL members.
