Not sure about your statement, I think 2007 and UNDER 350 / 330 have timing belt.

2008 and up has the chain. Someone can chip in on this??

yes it does have a chain, but I would consider changing water pump in the near future. Several IS350 and GS350 owners (myself included) have had leaking pumps 80-100k miles. Not sure of the differences in the motor between the IS/GS and RX but it is definitely something to look into.

From the 2007 Lexus RX350 Owner's Manual:

http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do...in/71r5smt.pdf

Timing Chain
The RX 350 is equipped with a timing chain that requires no periodic inspection.

Looks like there is a problem in the Sewell system. Perhaps that is the photo for a 2007 RX400h which still used the 3.3L engine and thus still had the timing belt. I see a similar mistake here:

I will drop them a PM.

It has a chain. This Engine diagram is from the 2007 - 09 Lexus RX350 Service Manual.

Got an 07 RX350 with 30.100 mile for 22K. Private seller. Original owner. Cream puff in and out. Showroom condition. Was kept in a carpeted garage. Lexus service records. Crystal White. No Nav though. I was stoked when I found it and took it on the spot. Didn't even have it checked out.

One can only hope to be that lucky. Did you play the lottery afterwards?

Can't really speak for the price.

the manual (page 67) says RX350 is a timing chain, this probably doesn't need replacement, but I would make sure the chain isn't loose as it can come off and damage the parts near it which can be a disaster. I would also make sure that the water pump and spark plugs were done. Spark plugs are pain on RXs.
