I am looking at high-mileage RX330 just to drive to Tahoe. I know that everyone says they are reliable but what should I watch out for? I am looking at 2006 RX330 AWD and the asking price is $12k. It has 133k miles. Should I stay away and look for something with 100k miles or below?

I bought an 04 rx330 from a lexus dealer with 144k for $12,000. Had every service interval, oil change, fluid change, etc done at the lexus dealer which added in my confidence purchasing a high mileage rx and I have no regrets in doing so, people think the vehicle only has 50k miles with how well it drives.

 

They are not as trouble free as some people make them out to be. I own a 2006 with 65000 miles on it and t has been average. Wheel bearings, short lived tires and goofy rear door hatches are a few common problems. Look at Audi and Mercedes as well. Jamie
