Default 2006 Lexus RX330 140k Miles

Hey guys what do you think about a 2006 Lexus RX330 with 140k miles? All up to date such as timing belt tires and everything else. Car amazingly maintained. I need an SUV in our family now. I am wanting to trade in our families 2008 Honda Accord LX with 45k miles. Ohh yah and the rx330 has every option available. What do you guys think? Am I crazy buying a car with 100k more miles? This car will be for my mother.

Not crazy at all, the Lexus is a step up from the Accord. Even if the Accord is 2 years newer, and has less miles.

You haven't told us the price of this vehicle. That is kind of important, for us to give an opinion. A well maintained RX is good for many more miles than the one you are considering. Check out the thread below. This is a saga of a young attorney buying a high mileage RX that worked perfectly for her.

Default Price!!!

Hey

I Can probably get it for 14k Out the door. The owners spared no expense on this vehicle.

Thanks
SGLexus,

We also considered a 2012 RX350 but decided that the value on these are just unbeatable

I thought he was just trading the Accord in, and getting the RX with no money on top. I understood wrong. LOL
The Accord is probably worth around $18k, and the RX330 around $20k. < rough estimates, off the top of my head, could be completely off for all i know. lol

hypervish you are right! We are wanting to trade the accord in and spend about the same on the cars. Trade in on Accord is about same as rx330 price.

hypervish I see that you have alot of high mileage cars! Our family always bought cars brand new until this year we figured we dont keep it for that long anyway so just drive them for a couple of years and sell them!

Haha, yeah all of my car's are high mileage. I make bi-monthly trips (sometimes monthly) to Michigan and Chicago which is about 1200, and 1800 miles respectively. So, the miles add up quick. Not to mention, my dad has a 110 mile commute everyday.

My 2004 has 136,000 miles and it runs perfectly, as long as the car is maintained you will be just fine!

I just bought an 07 with 75k for 19 out the door. 14 seems expensive to me for a year older and double the miles.....1 owner...from the Lexus dealer....all service current and documented on Lexus Drivers.
