According to the letter I got from Lexus last week, they's reimbursing owners for cracked dashboard repairs... as long as you send in your receipt.

 

I have heard that our dashes will be subject to a warranty enhancement like what they gave the IS'. True? I have a crack on the DR side. I tool care of my dash with AS303 but when it was kicked out of the garage 2 years ago, it tool its toll. I have always wanted a 3 car garage. And if I can install a lift, I would be very happy but can not, I do not have the clearance.

 

Yeah that is true...Toyota is still sending out the letters and the replacements won't be available till summer.

 

Toyoda, CEO of Toyota is very keen on getting back the trust on Toyota-Lexus brand, after the unintended acceleration claim. Good for Toyota. All these expenses will not make a dent on the Toyota global profit. When you supply a good product and stand by it, it make you more profit.

 

What's the year and model of your car that has this warranty?

 

we got the letter as well. ours is 2005. I'm pretty sure it would cover all 2nd gen RX. we have not schedule due to shortage of parts until later.
