sleepysurf, you need to have an added line item in your car insurance to guarantee OE replacement. I have it on my policy so they can't go cheap when replacing anything...
I presume they increased your premium in order to provide that OEM clause! I'll ask my State Farm agent if they offer a guaranteed OEM option.
