Just a quick question. I purchased the the knock off cable and software from ebay and it was able to connect perfectly fine, but a lot of my options are "*" so I can't access it. I bought this because when I bought this car, it only came with a valet key and I was trying to add a master key and someone had told me I could add the master with the techstream kit.

So the questions is, would having just the valet key lock out the options in techstream? I was able to get to the Wireless Registration, but as soon as I click to start the wizard, it automatically fails. So I was wondering if that was because of the valet key also.

Any insight is welcome.
