Default 2005 RX 330 having poor acceleration

My RX has lost acceleration since this morning....it would not go beyond 60mph even if I am pressing the foot all the way.

What are the common causes for this? I just did oil change service three days back and it was driving okay. I did felt like transmission slipping couple of times yesterday but not sure if that relates to poor acceleration.

Secondly it may be the weirdest thing you may have heard, for acceleration...does it matter how much gas i am carrying in tank. I still have 60 mile range.

A slipping transmission could do it.

Mass Airflow Sensor? Needs cleaning or even replacement.

Thanks for your answers.
Problem solved....the cause was user error..and user was me.
Due to last weeks rain, i padded my regular carpet with another carpet and that carpet got struck under the pedal. I was not pressing the pedal down enough because i could....
Now its running smooth like cheese.

And if that gas pedal had gotten stuck on the mats while the throttle was wide open we would not be talking with you today.

This is why you never stack floor mats on top of floor mats.
