Default 2004 RX330 with 120K?

I am looking at purchasing a 2004 RX330 with around 120k miles, from my understanding these cars are dead reliable, but is there anything a new owner should be aware of?

Also, I will be getting the timing belt done almost immediately after purchase.

It will be due for plugs as well. You'll need to start thinking about struts and shocks, bearings. A complete fluid change, oil, trans, radiator, brakes, power steering, transfer case if AWD. These things respond well to maintenance, take care of it and you may double that mileage.

Register it at Lexus to see all the Lexus performed maintenance since new.

This work doesn't need to be done all t once, just schedule it in and take care of it over time.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I would make sure that all of the maintenence is completed. I bought my 04 (CPO) with 45,000 in 2007 and it now has 180,000. I did all of the required maintenence and my SUV still is going strong.

I would spend the extra $ on the 08, more power and no timing belt to worry about.

Thank you for your reply guys. At last I ended up buying 2008 RX3250 with navi package for my wife. I can't beleive the prior owner used that car for 7 years. It look ike brand new in interior and exterior. He should have looked after that vehicle as a baby. Whoever it is thanks to him.

BTW for my 2007 IS350 I have a engine sign in the dash. Dealer says whole exhaust to be changed and estimating for $1750 for parts and labour extra. Any body know any exhaust repair people in GTA who could change catalytic converter instead of whole exhaust system? Appreciated for a quick answer.
