I am wondering if i can add third row seating in my RX 330, i just need it temporarly for may be a week.
Let me know ideas, is it possible ? is it illegal to add like this ?
please guide, want to do it as a DIY project.

Just rent an appropriate vehicle which meets your needs.

I would guestimate it would be illegal. The car (not sure how the States work) is a 5 seat registered vehicle. Adding additional seating rows would not meet a lot of stringent requirements and you would probably be busted big time. Also it wouldn't be safe to do. There are no fasteners for the seats, seat belts and room. Do what others have suggested, if possible hire something that meets the requirements for the short period of time that you require this functionality.

Unless you buy a small minivan seat, place it UNATTACHED in the rear compartment, with no seat belts, then you are about out of options.
