Default Driver side mirror needs replacement, wants to understand whether it has auto dimming

My driver side mirror was broken from inside. I believe some kid hang on it so that one of the three housings for screws to connect it to the body is totally broken. Now the mirror moves a little when driving at highway speed and I don't think that it is safe any more.

So I called dealer and asked for part number. They gave me 87940-0E011-C0. I searched internet and found that this part# doesn't have auto dimming. I called back and asked the question, the guy from the parts department at the dealer doesn't know about it at all. He just said that it was what he got from computer.

I think that mine mirror has auto dimming function and I can double check it tonight.

Can anyone verify this and check whether the mirror has auto dimming? Or is it an optional?

Depends on what all you are replacing. If you are replacing just the externals then you will have everything you need from your original setup. Check this diagram from Sewell:

Can I dissemble what is in the housing and re-use those? The functionality of the mirror is not destroyed at all. It is just the housing that couldn't hold. If it is the case, it is easy to dissemble?
