Default Mark Levinson CD changer - Shipment Mode Setting

I have a 2006 RX 400H, the Mark Levinson CD changer displayed an error 4. I purchased a replacement factory unit from an Ebay seller. Unit appears to be fine, installed it. Before shipping they put it in "SHIPMENT MODE" and I can't figure out how to undo this mode. Anyone with answers?

Welcome to Club Lexus, Twedwards3.

Am going to assume you installed this with the battery still attached to your vehicle. Believe the negative terminal needs to be disconnected on your RX before you hook up the connections to your new unit. You will need to disconnect everything, remove the negative terminal from your battery, reconnect the stereo, then connect the battery back up.

Shipment Mode is used for transport to park moving parts such as the CD player laser diode.

You might try confirming this with the seller on eBay.
