Hello from Las Vegas!

First day here...I'll be back, but I'm looking today for a way to program/disable the factory warning that comes up every time I start the vehicle.

On another note: I'd also like to disable the beep when I raise or lower my rear hatch!

Welcome to Club Lexus roadog1951. You will need to buy the 2011 or newer version Navigation DVD (Generation 5). A similar warning will appear, but dismisses automatically after about 5 seconds.

There is no setting that I am aware of for volume settings on back door. Lexus has personalized settings they can change with a computer at the dealership. I have attached a pdf document on what settings the dealer can do. There is a thread here on how a member took apart the hatch interior panels and disconnected a wire that greatly reduced the volume. Use the "search this forum" feature to find it.
