My vsc light is blinking and the check engine light is on. I've changed the gas cap and reset the computer. But within ten miles it started doing the same thing. I have just had new tires put on,
about 120 miles ago. Would this have anything to do with it?

The best thing for you to do is to get the error code read. If you do not have a scanner you can try going to a local parts store, such as Advance Auto or AutoZone, to see if they will read the code for you. Once you have the error code(s) a better determination can be made regarding your problem.

Doubt tires have anything to do with the problem, however, one cannot tell without the codes.

Pull your codes friend. Autozone will usually pull the codes for you on their reader and you can post and we can go from there. Does your vehicle have air suspension perhaps? Just curious.

Give us the codes and that is a good starting point.

 

BTW, was there a particular reason you changed the gas cap as you state in your original post? Very rarely do these fail unless damaged some how.
