my wifes moon roof will only open and close if the switch is continuously pressed. its been like this for the 1 year we have owned the vehicle. has anyone else had this problem? I like to fix things myself and don't want to pay lexus to do something I can do on my own.... Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your sunroof just needs to be reset. This happens when the battery is replaced or goes dead. Similar resets are required for the windows as well.

Instructions for how to reset can be found by searching the existing threads here in the forums. Get to know how they work. Many of the questions you might want to ask have already been asked. The instructions can also be found in the Owner's Manual.
