What will suck is that when you go aftermarket the leather wont match. You will either have to deal withthe slight color difference,or order different headrests and cut those up forthe screens

You can just take it to the audio shop and have them install it for you on your current headrest. As stated previously, it's hard to match aftermarket headrest leather color with built in DVD screens (eBay) unless your interior is a common color they use. I'm looking into a DIY on my current RX. Looks pretty easy but I don't have it in my heart to slice my oem headrest. I'd just take it to the shop and have them install. So if it's messed up, I'd have someone to blame for instead of making the mistake myself and bang my head against the wall for doing it wrong.

I bought the INVISION headrests from a guy off craigslist and they match perfectly in our 2006 RX. This is the brand that the factory installs. If you're really worried about cutting your headrests, you could just buy some factory ones off ebay.

sorry for the previous crappy cell phone pic. here is another crappy pic of them installed. They do not use the factory head rests but a larger style. The leather is exact though.

I bought these off of eBay, the Lexus dealer that I bought it off said it was made for a GX, but it should fit a Rx. The color was a tan, and I took it to my auto upholstery shop, they matched it to my leather for $80 for both headrests. Works and looks great!

By the time you add up all the hardware and installation costs. You are better off getting a couple of older iPads.

Plus you will be able to use them in any car.

Did y'all install it yourselves? How did y'all remove the seat backings? Was it clips or screws?
