Hub Bearing
I have noticed a slight road noise on 2004 RX 330. The kit contains hub/bearing assembly. It is AWD. Can anyone shed some light on the replacement. Size of axle nut, ease of replacement, etc.

30mm 12 point socket for the axle nut. Beware when you go to take the nut off... There is a special tool we use to knock up the piece of the nut that is hit into the groove to help hold it in place. If you do not do that, you will damage the threads of the axle, and potentially ruin the threads on the axle and the nut....

I found sacrificing a pin punch carefully will take that detent out. and then use a small flat blade screwdriver to make sure it is bent to shape to remove the nut.
other tip is try to break the nut loose with the wheel back on the car resting on the ground...much safer....
