Replacement key question RX330
My 2004 RX330 key shell snapped recently.
My original key has a shank that is 40mm long.
I bought a non-OEM keyshell with a shank that is 38.5mm long.
If I get the non-OEM ket cut, does anyone know if the 1.5mm length difference will cause a problem? A locksmith mentioned that sometimes a shorter key may not release properly from the steering column.
