The Mark Levinson CD player on my 2005 RX300 flashes error 4 and wont play cds or eject cds. The dealer says the only fix is a $600 refurbished one (before labor). Any help on how to fix it or replace it? Can I replace it with aftermarket of equal quality?

i just fixed CD changer in my 2002 ES300, i was getting error 3 with CD's stuck inside. Now everything works, there is a thread in the ES forum.

Had the same thing with my 2005 330 with a ML . Took it to a local shop had them remove it and ship it off.
Probile with the radio out nothing works the ac is what ever setting it was on before the radio was remove, no nav , the only thing you can do is start it and drive it . And I had to have it out 4 times befor they got it right. paid $ 550 for all that fun so if they will replace it for 500 plus 1 hour labor then that is a good deal.
