RX330 Transmission Thump

RX330 Transmission Thump
I have 126,000 miles on my Rx. When I accelerate, after coasting, I hear a thump sound. When braking and the transmission downshifts, I hear a thump sound. It is a consistantly occuring sound. I have no other problems with the transmission. Any idea as to the cause?
