Okay I need help my car has done this in the past intermittently; It will stop after starting it up then when i restart the car i have to give it gas for approx 30-45 secs. And will stall possilby one to two times again then when i get going all is well. But two days ago i had to drive with both feet (which i had do in the past also). I have read a thread on another site that said it was someones iac does anyone have any suggestion! Thank you in advance

I had this happened to my car few monthes ago.Is there any codes.I did clean the throttle body and used some gas treatment and worked fine.

 

If you have an 03' then you have an RX300.

You need to clean the IACV, along with the throttle body. You can find a DIY over in the RX "First Generation" Sub-Forum.

Hello all who helped me
I did some of my own investigating and I let someone borrow my car and they put 87 octane gas in my and it doesnt do well with that gas so it has run its course and is running as usual. But I did get the fuel treatment as rec and will have the throttle,the other things cleaned as well per a friend said that wouldnt hurt. So thank you and Im so very thankful for this website.
