New (used) owner
Just purchased the future Mrs. an RX330 last night. I moved to South Canada (new hampshire) about 5 months ago for work. I had to leave the my fiancee back in the midwest until I found a place to move here etc. We also have an IS350, that she's basically now made her own, since I put too many miles on cars. After an absolutely awful experience with a moving company who damaged our IS, while helping get it on a car trailer, I knew that living here, and her having RWD, may become an issue. Well she didnt want to hear that, the IS350 was her baby. Crystal white/tan, she calls it her princess
After getting our insurance claim done for the IS350's damage, I hit her with the "I truly dont know how well she'd fair in the snow here (oddly enough it's snowed one time since being here ..but I'll take it) she unwillingly began looking into what her next vehicle will be. After going back and forth between an MDX and an RX, we went and took a 2 hour drive to check out the RX. Saw it on Autotrader, and it really didnt have the features we were looking for (she wanted Nav/backup camera) but the miles were fairly low so I just said the worst that can happen is we get there and we dont like it. Got to the dealership, and there she was an 04 Crystal white/tan RX330 (I may be in luck here!). I got in the drivers seat and start her up, then BAM, the navigation screen pops on, I try to hide the fact that I'm seeing Nav, I put it in Reverse, and my she looks at me and says, it does have the backup camera!! Welllll that's all she wrote. Driving her, she was very smooth, I paid extra attention to the transmission shifting, and it was perfect. Thanks to this forum, I knew the right questions to ask and make sure I purchased the proper extended warranty (just in case that tranny wants to peace out on me)
All in all, I'm happy with the buy, and glad she's happy with the vehicle. I will post pix soon (not like you all havent seen one before) when I take delivery on it Tuesday.
I'm now pumped we have a vehicle to get up through those mountains and through snow
Now it's time to sell our IS350 though
