Which iPhone/iPod kit?
2008 RX350 with Nav.
iPhone 3GS
I'm looking to be able to play the iPod function of the iPhone through the car audio system. Controlling it on the Nav screen is a plus which is why I'm looking at these devices rather than a dummy cassette or radio transmitter.
Keeping the device charged is needed. I don't care that much about phone use and video playback might be nice but probably hardly used. I think I'd miss the steering wheel buttons working at least for the radio (as for the phone, I can't miss what doesn't presently exist). I read that the GTA installation would cause that.
So does anyone want to offer a little guidance on comparing these? I saw the GTA installation video and it seemed reasonable. I assume the VAIS is similar.
