Hi guys,I have 2004 rx ,the brakes parts are original, replaced at sometime by the dealer under warrenty for vibrations, now it started to vibrate ,the steering wheel,at high speed braking, the pads has 8 mm thickness left
So,is it worth to turn the rotors or just replce all the parts thanks

The first thing to check is the lugnuts, they may be over torqued. This can cause vibration and lead to warping of the rotors. The proper torque for the RX is 76 foot lbs. If that doesn't work out I would just replace the rotors with an aftermarket drilled and slotted plus new pads.

When you say high speed braking ... do mean when you gently apply pressure on brake pedal?
The other important question is how are the vibrations without applying the brakes? Do they get pronounced by gentle brake pressure?
Also try to differentiate between vibrations felt through the brake-pedal-foot and steering wheel vibration and vibration of the vehicle when stopping. Note for the above, we are not talking emergency stopping conditions where ABS kicks in.
Also read up on bedding the brake pads which require burning off residue on the rotors and pads. ... remember to back-off the brakes before coming to halt. <= most likely this will cure high-speed brake vibration issue.
