Default Hello, Allow my self to introduce my self

Hello all, long time reader first time poster
Good forum you have here very informative and helpful

Just picked up a 04 RX330 with 119, 000 miles. It’s in pretty good condition and I have the full service records (all services were done at the dealer by the previous owner as scheduled) over all it’s a clean car and is pretty loaded for that year, has nav, back up cam, HID, 18inch rims, etc.
Put on about 400 miles on it and it’s obviously not a new car that I am used to but rides well and comfortable, plus I got it for $13,100 so I can’t complain.

Got the car home and was able to give it a look over, had a few minor issues that I was able to address already,
- Center console would not slide, with the help of this forum I was able to quickly reconnect the cable and fix that.
- Plate lights were out so fixed that too

Some major issues still outstanding
- Head light moisture, I plan on tackling that this weekend (the driver side headlight is really bad. I read through all the forum topics and DIY here and will go for it. Here is my question, how do I know if I have the AFS headlights or not. I looked through the window sticker and do not see it but when I turn my headlights on I see that they do the start up process (go up, down, before leveling) does this mean they are AFS?

- Antenna, the antenna is broken off and I cannot just get the mast and replace, I need that swivel mount piece which the mast screws into. I get good reception when in the city but it gets bad as soon as I leave city limits. So here is the question, I see people selling the entire assembly which I don’t really need and don’t feel like paying 230 for it. Is there a place where I can look at a parts diagram and get the specific part individually?

- Tires, the tires are decent but are on the way out; I would like to get new tires for the NE winter season. Which brand do you all recommend at a decent price? Is there anyone on the site that can help? Also the car needs to have a wheel alignment so I figure I kill two birds with one stone.

-Sunroof, I read alto about resetting auto windows and sunroof on this site. Can anyone tell me how? It seems that both tilt and the other button just open and close the sunroof and there is no one touch operation (at least I have not found it)

Thanks
K

At least for the sunroof, the Manual has all your answers. Go read it 3x at least, wealth of tips, knowledge.

Or, if you're bone idle as I am you could whip by the dealer and let them set it. I did that yesterday on the one touch sunroof and had the door lock set to open all four and the deck with one punch. I had them change the oil as well so I wouldn't look like a complete freeloader. I got a wash too.

Default Welcome

Set yourself up an account with Lexus.

https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home

It has an online Owners Manual. So you can just search for your questions.

Also dont limit your reading to the Second Gen RX forum. Its all Lexus. You will find the answers you need in different sections and models.

Good luck
