Has anyone used/is using those tires on their RX, seeking feedback. Thanks

I put a set on last week. Steering and handling seem OK. They're very quiet on asphalt, but very noisy on chip seal.

If I remember I'll post back in a month or so when I've had a bit more experience with them.

How's wet traction, and is low rolling resistance compound saving you any MPG?

Been looking at Kumho's myself. The Korean tires are starting to make waves. Good package for the money for sure.

just ordered a set of these for my RX.
the current tires are onthe way out so i ordered as set of these. the price seems rigth, the reviews are good.

ill up date once they arrive and are mounted.

just cant beat a good set of michelins! c`mon guy`s,its a lexus,not a hyundai here.

sometimes its just the name.. not really the quiality product you are bauying ( paying for)

got the kuhmo's installed and balanced ( also did a wheel alignment)

first impression:
the ride is smooth and quite (solved my wobbling at 70mph issue)
good grip in dry weather (no rain or snow driving yet)

i was only able to put about 50 miles on them over the weekend but have nothing negative to report back, for now the MPG looks to be unaffected and is the same as with the michelins tiers that were on the car before. ( i had the michelins energy on before the kumhos, the kumhos are 2lbs heavier per tire but in the big picture that should not have any major affect)

Are they "V" speed rated? jc

Sounds like a nice tire, but 2 lbs heavier, that could be bad on your gas milage in the long run, that is a total of 8 extra pounds adding all four tires together. Any added unsprung weight can affect stuff like braking, reaction time, and in the long run gas mileage.
Personally I hated the Michelins, very stiff and unforgiving tire and way overpriced. Didn't like their handling or performance for freeway driving. If there was any advantage was their overall mileage, I think I got nearly 60,000 miles with them but I still hated them.

yes 8lbs could potentially affect it but so does the stuff you put in the car itself. remove the spare / or the jack/ or the cargo cover/ or the manual for that matter and there you go weight savings...

The reason I asked is because when I bought my RX two years ago, the dealer had put Nexen H speed rated tires on. It rode nice, but it definitely handles better with the Michelin`s. And the Nexen`s only lasted 20,000 miles, plus I couldnt keep those tire`s balanced either.

i spoke with a tire shop and they said that since the car is suppose to run 99V loaded tires, We can only have 99+ and either W,V,Z tires.

is that true?
