Debadge the rear
Anybody has entertained debadging their RX? I just debadged my SC, I must say, I like it.
How about our RX?

I have played with the idea. My only concern is that the paint colour shade may be different underneath the badges and would make it look horrible. However, I could be wrong. Less badging means easier car detailing

I think after 7 years of being on there I think there will be some shadowing in the paint. I will leave mine alone unless I end up repainting. In that case I would likely do a full debadge.

No worries on ghosting. Polish and wax, good to go.

Might need to read the rules. You have to have a minimum amount of posts, I think.

No minimum for that.

Back to topic, I was always thought that the RX would appear to "bulbous" without the badge. I once chopped a photo and removed the badges and personally the original badges allow the backend to be broken up a bit and it looks good without it.

I did it with my RX300.
The only issue was with the L that had to be painted over (had two small holes).

That looks good. I want to keep the L though.

Looks a little strange...
Maybe if I left the "L".
Much better, looks nice!

The more I look at it the better I like it, looks great with the roof rack delete. Just cleaner lines with the rack and badging gone.

You can always remove the roof rack. Just need to buy the Panoramic roof inserts.
