It would depend on how deep the scratch is.

ya know, I would LOVE to follow the person home who did that to you, and beat the (*(&*it out of him! This stuff really pisses me off!! Sorry, I had to vent on this situation because it happened to me when i was in the Army. Some knucklehead scratched my New (at the time) Mercury Lynx (remember those) along the passenger side of the car. Luckily it was not deep, and good ole kit wax got most of it out. But if it`s deep enough that you can feel it with your thumb nail, Its more than likely body shop time.Or a really good detailer that knows how to use a wheel.

The quick way to check whether Quixx will work or not is to move your nail across the scratch. If you can feel the line of the scratch, quixx will not work. Otherwise it is a very good scratch remover. I have used it many times for the area like door handle etc.

I also have several deep scratch which couldn't be removed by any scratch remover. I need to go to body shop for getting rid of those.

I've had very good luck with Nu Finish Scratch Doctor Clear Coat Scratch Remover on minor scratches such as parking lot door dings, etc. I get it at Target

Someone side swiped my car when it was parked in a shopping center about 6 months ago, and then someone scratched my front and passenger door about a month ago too. I wish I knew who these people were!
