My RX350 got bumped so I want to swap it out for the better looking (IMO) RX400h front bumper. Is this possible, Has anyone done it before?

 

You would have to get new foglights, they are different on each. I don't know if mounting points are the same or not.

 

Really I cant fit my oblong shaped fog-lights into a round hole?

I'm well aware of the lights I need answers on the body lines matching up right or not.

 

Sorry, I didn't realize you had done your homework on that. Most people just assume they are all the same.

Ah sorry about that adam.

From research on after-market body kits it says bumpers fit RX330/350/400h so I'm going to assume they are the same. I will let everyone know my findings.

 

If you do this, please post a DIY w/photos.

 

RXNick did you ever actually find out if the RX400h bumper would fit a non-hybrid 2nd gen RX?

The bodyshop had a RX400 bumper laying around and it did mount up exactly the same as a 330/350 bumper but sadly my insurance (USAA) would only cover vehicle specific parts So in short it is possible I'm keeping an eye out on ebay it seems sometimes they have wrecked cars with good body parts for cheap.
