Hi - I am a new (used) Rx 350 owner and need to change the fog light bulbs. The owners manual says to access through the 2 holes directly beneath the fog lights but there is too much stuff in the way and i cannot get my hand in.
Ant thoughts are appreciated. Do i have to access by removing the fender liner??
The passenger side fog light should be easily accessible through the hole. You just have to fiddle around in there until you can feel the connector. The driver side is not as easy though, you need to open up the fender liner a little bit in order to gain access to it.
I did not have to go through the wheel well for the driver's side. It was also accessible through the front, as was the passengers side. Maybe ask your wife/gf to do it since they have "thin" hands/arms
For the passenger side, I had to remove the washer fluid hose and I was able to reach down to change the bulb.
For the driver side, I had to loosen the battery hold-down bracket, move the battery an inch or so, and I was then able to reach down and replace the bulb.
Removing the fender liner is not really a bad deal. Very straightforward. I did a side repeater DIY and a HL condensation repair and it shows how to remove the fender liner.
Yes thanks for all the help. I removed 2 screws and pulled out the fender liner. Piece of cake to 15 minutes to d both sides. Thanks again to this great forum
