Default All Weather Mat?

I received my new All Weather Mat from Sewell today. My question is, I had the carpet mat that came with the car. I took it out and put the all weather mat in. My question is do I need to leave the carpet mat in the car under the all weather mat? Looks like to me I just need to store the carpet mat. If I want to use it in the future.

Blues, I went to the Sewell web site and could not find the All Weather Mat. Did you call them and what was the cost ? Do they say "Lexus" on them and do they have the holes in them for the mat hooks ? Thanks for the info.

It's on their web site and it does say Lexus. Here's the link:

I thought when you said all weather mat you were talking about floor mats and not a cargo mat. My bad. The cargo mat that came with my RX is carpeted on one side and has rubber on the other side. You just flip it for what ever your needs are. I'm trying to find some all weather floor mats that are Lexus OEM. I guess since the gas pedel issue in other models these floor mats are no longer available. I've tried EBay and other sources to no avail.

Cat, give Sewell a call or check out their website. They came out with the Lexus all weather mats for the 3rd gen within the past week. Sounds like Lexus has given the go ahead to start selling them again.

Got an email from Sewell today and the All weather floor mats for all models are on hold and no ETA for release in the near future. Guess I'm just in a holding pattern.

Didn't see anything on fleabay and have not checked Craigslist. Local dealer had the thick rubber all weather mats but they do not say "Lexus" like the OEM plus they were wanting something like $120 for them. I should have bought the AW mats before all the gas pedal issues .
