I'm trying to sell an '07 RX400h with 45,000 miles for my parents. The vehicle still under manufacturer warranty until Jan. 2011, has all options (nav, bluetooth, backup camera, woodtrim etc..) except for no DVD entertainment. Carfax is clean and all services were done at Lexus dealership.

What is the price you think I can get it sold for? KBB private party is $31,200

 

Depends on the market. You can always try craigslist and autotrader for the KBB value. Chances are it will not sell for that amount.

Then again, there might be a person not willing to pay brand new price and is willing to shell that kind of money for a hybrid. You can always try.

I got an offer for $29K, I thought it was too low? Don't you think? I mean I can put another 2-3K miles on it and sell it at that price.

Go for the offer or continue driving another 2-3K? What made you say that? I know luxury car market is a little down now...but doesn't that means a lot of ppl would go for the used vehicles instead of brand new?
