I noticed that the cup holder on the drivers side right below the air duct might need to be replaced. It opens and closes just fine but when I open it, I believe the lower piece on the bottom which actually supports the botttom of a can is broken. Is it difficult to replace this part. Not sure if the dash has to be removed? thanks, Mike

 

first step should be a call to the dealer to get a price for the part, might cost more than its worth to replace

 

I had my driverside air duct break a few months ago. The small tab that you grab to adjust the direction of the air. It snapped in two.

Had it replaced under warranty. 235 dollars was on the invoice.

 

Try junkyards.

 

Do you actually use that cup holder? It seems a little flimsy to me,thats why I`m asking.(plus if you hit a bump the soda goes everywhere)

 

Its not that I actually use it regularly, I just don't like knowing something is broke.. It actually opens just fine and a covered cup of coffe fits snuggly into the holder, i would just like to know how hard it is to change the bottom support to make it normal? If it is a simple swap I will do it.
