I was brushing snow off of my wife's RX330 and it seems that the antenna tip came off. It doesn't look like I broke it. Is it breakaway and just fits with pressure. I thought I saw threads but wasn't sure.

I'd like to ensure that it stays on because my wife will kick my butt if it falls off.

SCREW ON type. You have to screw it...I meant screw it on.

 

Seems like the threaded stud has broken off but radio still works well. Will probably ghetto rig with a little bit of clear silicone caulk to hold it tight.

Would ghetto rigging this antenna tip to the base be better with locktite or clear silicone caulk?
