Light blue stain lines on seats
The passenger front seat and rear seat are light gray leather and are showing some very light blueish stain lines almost like a water mark or something.
What would cause these?
Can they be removed?
We did not notice before.
What do you think.

This is from your jeans. The color is transferring onto light colored seats. This is why I always buy my cars with black interior because if you want to keep your gray interior looking like new, you actually have to work on it. Try some leather cleaner and some elbow grease

RSFX.
I hear what you are saying but why would it look like it is from a water stain.
You can only see it around the edges of where the stain is. Sounds weird I know but thats it.
Seems like you would have to be dripping wet with jeans on and it would leave blue all over the seat??

its from the jeans, i have it both in my GX and RX and my cousin has the same problem in her IS its a problem with all Lexus seats what you can do is get a wash cloth dampen it put some detergent, and lightly i mean very lightly go over those areas, you can see the blue transfer to the cloth and then finish up with some leather lotion

It could be from your pants or it could be a dye defect. I just cleaned an 05 RX330 and it clearly had a dye defect that looked like blue pens exploded in certain areas. We need a picture.

I had the same thing on my RX. Lt Gray interior and I think its from jeans as well. I used Leather Master Strong Cleaner and a sponge. Had to work it in until the stain went away, but at least its gone.

Have not seen a TSB on this leather stain...

I have the tan leather and wear jeans a lot and they haven't stained in 5 years. I clean the seats with Leather Masters Strong Leather Cleaner and protect them with Leather Masters Protection Cream. The latter is a sealant for the leather that keeps stains from penetrating the urethane coating. Very good protection.
