There are laws in some states and municipalities that prohibit vehicles from being left running while unattended. They usually say it is a combo of reasons, citing safety, pollution and anti-theft. I would check with your local Police Dept before making the investment.

 

C'mon. We have jails too full for drug dealers, Al Quada being released into America from Gitmo, the economy has crashed, health care is a mess. Unemployment is at a generational high....and they're gonna arrest me for running my car for 5 minutes unattended?

I have bigger things to worry about.
