Default been searching high and low for these...

Does anyone know how to turn off traction controll so I can burn out? I have a 2009 Lexus RX350... and also, does anyone know how to do the navigation hacks on the 08 and 09 navs yet? (I'm 16 so if your wondering why the hell I want to burn out in a lexus... I have friends that want to see a lexus burn out... they think lexus's are for rich old people... I highly disagree..as long as I have been alive, there has been a lexus in my garage and I am proud of that. They are GREAT CARS!!!! also, is there anyone else that regrets not waiting till the 2010 models came out??????

Burn out? Really? If you were looking for a performance machine, the RX was a wrong choice to make. I can understand that your teenage antics are at their peak in creativity at your age, but no SUV (no, not even the Cayenne) is built to scream. Even if you could turn traction control off, the car's pretty restrictive by way of sudden massive bursts of torque, so you won't get what you're looking for without investing an exorbitant amount of money.

if you have AWD, there is no disabling the traction control.

if you have FWD, the button is located underneath the steering column, you have to really duck down to see them. they are basically at the level of the parking brake.

Lol, I agree.

Seriously, the RX is more of a family vehicle rather than a sports version. If you really want to kill your tires that bad, good luck. Wet your tires, it helps a lot. FWD doesn't burn out that will, coupled with the unsportiness of the RX, it's going to be very hard and dangerous. (To your car).

In addition to my 09 Pebble Beach, I have a company car 06 Highlander. Only "mod" if you will, is a K&N filter. I can break the front tires any time I want from a standing or rolling start, concrete or asphalt. Highlander has a 3.3 liter and 250 or so hp. Stock tires and new tires. Both break traction.

Of course, in my poor 82 Corvette with 206,000 miles, I can break traction in first AND second. But I only get 15 mpg at best - just a bit modified.
