Default Outside/recirculated air setting

I found those fabulous instructions on how to disable the seat belt chime - what a hoot and what a relief!

Now, can anyone tell me how to force the car to "remember" what the outside/recirculated air setting was when the car was turned off? It seems to have a mind of its own. I can understand why it wants fresh air when defrosting, but when I set it to recirculate, I want it to stay that way until I decide otherwise.

Thanks
EdP

You have to get it changed by the dealer. It's a personalized option. If you can find the list of P.O. it on there.

Isn't it great? I can put on my seat belt at my own pace and not have it "yell" at me!

How do you disable the chime? I took my dog to the vet the other day and had to put the SB buckle in the lock because my dog was sitting in the front seat.

Do a search on here and you'll find the instructions.

Did a search and found procedure but more importantly also found it was in my owner's manual. Thanks for the help.
