They told me 30K service would cost around $600 in standard.

Probably the difference is that you get a nice loaner car for the day and you don't have to fill up the gas when you return it.

Time for 15K Service, maintenance light turned on.
According to Maintenance manual, nothing major, Oil Change, Rotate Tires, Clean Cabin Air Filter, Check this, Check that, Check something else, etc.
- Lexus Dealer=$325 (Their modified maintenance checklist)
- Toyota Dealer=$299 (Their pre-defined maintenance checklist)
- Local Independent=$138 (with Lexus Maintenance Manual checklist)
Maintenance light is now off.
- Savings=$200
- Expensive excuse for a loaner and a car wash.
Will be seeing them again in about 5K miles.
Now I know what I can really do with my Lexus Pursuits Visa Card points (won't be saving for that service from them any more!) Accessories through Sewell?
