When you bring the car in to the dealer for service do they have access to the service history that is online at the Lexus website? How would they regard work not done by them?

All Lexus dealerships should have access to the nationwide network of Lexus dealerships. Any service that was performed by a Lexus dealership should be in there. If the work was done elsewhere, hopefully you have the paperwork. How they regard it is varies between dealerships. There is nothing that says you can't bring it to an independent.

as stated already the dealer has records from day one that they can print out for you (a customer can only print out the history from 2005-present). I did notice that my lexus dealer doesn't specify each job though (which sucks) they just say "non warrantable work" so i have to keep my originals for future owners. i'm glad the other lexus dealers didn't do that or i wouldn't have known exactly what was done.

During my PPI for my vehicle they pulled ALL the service records which are saved in a database for work only performed by Lexus dealer as everyone has said. You can request this anytime. The dealer is able to pull up any record in there by the PO and see EXACTLY what work was performed by that dealer since the notes in the summary page are very cryptic.

Not sure what you mean "how would they regard work not done by them". They dont care and would never see it or even know about it unless they are replacing the part or fixing the another shops mess. Some places wont touch another shops mess.

You can check them online through the owners site and you can add maint. that you have done yourself or had done somewhere else.
