Question Pairing multiple phones on RX?

Has any one paired 2 or more bluetooth phones on the RX bluetooth system? If so, can each phone you are pairing up use a different passkey code without messing up the other? e.g. first phone using "1111" code, second using "0000", third using "2222", ..... Dealer doesn't know the answer nor can I find it in the manual. Thanks.

I have three phones paired with my RX BT. You need to switch back and forth when you want to change phone. The switch take 3 or 4 steps (push buttons on the NAV for me). This process sucks since it is not intuative at all. i always forget after a while.

On the send question, I keep all with one passcode but I believe you can make them different.

My BT quality is bad. I tried a lot of different phones, different areas, different tricks, but the voice quality is still unacceptable. The noise level is very high. I don't know if it is just my car or everyone has the same proble.

I have three phones paired to my wife's 2008 RX 350 right now. Each of them works fine. All of them used the 1111 passcode. But....you can only have one phone connected to the car at a time. Changing passcodes won't fix that issue.

ditto. Only one can be connected at a time, which must be done while the vehicle is stopped. Imho, Lexus should have automated this functionality with the seat position memory - if the seat is in position 1, it should pair with my wife's phone; if in position 2, it should pair with mine.

This is exactly my thought. Don't know what Lexus was thinking. Requiring 3-4 button pushes on the nav screen to switch phones every time we switch drivers is unacceptable!

I had the defective microphone replaced on my '07 RX350. It always sounded like there was an electrical static noise to the person on the other end of the call when I spoke on the hands free microphone. There is a service bulletin on this. Could be your problem. Works much better now.

I echo the comments posted - I have two phones (Motorola V3 and Blackberry) paired to my 2008 RX 350. You pair each phone using the default passcode of 1111. Once they're programmed, you go into the phone settings options, select phone and choose the phone you have with you in the car that you want to use the Bluetooth. It's not too bad, but like all comments, you have to switch phone before the car is in motion or else it is locked out.
