Default Lockpick and the nav dvd reader in 09 Rx350

started this thread to gather info re the nav reader and lockpick. I know where the reader is located

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=334003

and i know how to install the lockpick

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=314547&page=2

I'm NOT (right now) going to install the audio/bluetooth harness that requires pulling the stereo/nav head from the dash, just the nav unlock. for 08 and 09s at least, the nav dvd reader is just out in the open under the spare tire tool kit. remove the tool kit tray, decouple the back plug from the nav dvd reader, put the lockpick plug on the reader then put the original lexus plug into the other end of the lockpick.

I installed the NAV lockpick basic last night in my RX350 08 and just as it's stated above it was simple, quick, and it works.

Thanks again Greg for you input and feedback.

Probably a dumb question -

I'm thinking of getting the Basic as well, but a little confused as to which model to order.. What model is it for the 08 rx350 Nav version 7.1 ?? Is it the lockpic 1 basic or 3 basic..

TIA
