2009 Toyota Venza
Toyota took the wraps off its 2009 Venza crossover today. Wondering if any of the styling gives a clue as to what we will see in the next RX?

Just when you thought that there were enough SUVs and crossovers in Toyota's lineup.

It looks like a beefier version of the Matrix in a weird way with a 07 camry front end.
I like the styling, the interior is pretty nice, dual exhaust looks good.
and wow --> 19s with the 4 cylinder, and 20s with the v6 package.
(Sounds a bit tooo aggressive for Toyota to even think of, I'm impressed
)
I like it. 8 out of 10

Isn't this suppose to be between RAV4 and Highlander, although there really isn't much space between the two now. I would imagine price should reflect the placement of the vehicle. I doubt this will lend any clues to next RX, as that will be based on Highlander underpinning. What it does yield to is the fact that everything in Toyota's lineup has gotten too "big" and there will probably be a small CUV to replace the old RAV4 size.
A smaller RX may still be in the cards according to some:
