how do I turn off voice prompt

I read in another forum on the ES350 that you can turn off the voice prompt to just a beep in the setup menu by clicking off the "voice recognition command" option. In my 2008 RX 350 I have the following setup options:

Voice recognition guidance
Voice guidance in all modes
Auto voice guidance

Can anyone explain better than that impossible owners manual what each of these setting does, and will any of them turn off that "After the beep please say a command" prompt?

This applies to all Gen 5 Navigation...

Press MENU

then press SETUP

Go to Page 2 of 3 of the listings

Set VOICE RECOGNITION GUIDANCE to OFF.
