It is a complete replacement,it came with wiring harness, you have to remove existing mirrors and run a wiring harness through from the right hand side dash to the LH side dash and connect it to the LH mirror and finally run the wire to flasher. It could take atleast 3 hours to install, my friend got it for me recently from japan.

 

I have yet to buy and since there are LED's in the mirror the suggestion was to use a electronic flasher to avoid hyperflashing(Lights flashing too fast )and causing the computer to report a bulb has burnt out and this also avoids the need have load resistors
